A man wanted in Nevada for violating his probation was booked into the Clark County jail Friday, nearly four years after he absconded from supervision, authorities said.
Michael Patrick Sullivan, who was previously convicted of possession of visual presentation depicting sexual conduct of a child, was arrested Oct. 7 in Biloxi, Mississippi, by the U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Sullivan had been sentenced in October 2021 to 28 to 72 months in prison, but the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation not to exceed five years. He absconded from supervision in January 2022, prompting a probation warrant.
A joint investigation by the Nevada State Police Parole and Probation Division's Warrants and Extraditions Unit and the U.S. Marshals Service Nevada Violent Offender Task Force led to his apprehension. He was booked into the Clark County Department of Corrections on Oct. 23.
