Real-time results: Nevada's 2026 election

Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar announced a modernized election results website Tuesday ahead of the general election, providing voters with a centralized platform to track statewide, county, and municipal outcomes. The revamped site builds on the existing Silver State Elections system and adds features allowing users to bookmark selected races in a single location and filter vote tallies by county.

"Transparency means making election information easy to find and easy to understand," Aguilar said. "Nevadans have long relied on Silver State Elections for results directly from election officials. This upgrade builds on that trusted resource, making it easier to follow their favorite races and stay informed as results are updated."

State election officials noted that unofficial results will begin appearing on the modernized state website on election night only after polls close and the final voter in line statewide has cast a ballot. Polls close at 7 p.m., but state law guarantees that every eligible voter in line by that time can vote. The Secretary of State's Office operates two distinct digital public portals: RESULTS.NV.gov displays unofficial vote counts and margins, while VIVID.NV.gov tracks voter participation, turnouts, mail ballots distributed and returned, and ballots requiring signature cures without reporting vote totals.

Initial returns released Tuesday night will not represent complete totals, officials cautioned. County election offices will continue processing valid mail ballots, addressing signature issues and evaluating provisional ballots over the following days. Under Nevada law, counties have until the seventh day after the election to process and count mail ballots before totals undergo final canvassing and certification. As of 6 p.m. Tuesday, more than 917,000 Nevada voters had cast ballots, representing 43% of active, registered voters.
