Nigro Construction held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday for a Fairfield-branded property on Lamb Boulevard at Interstate 15 in the northeast valley. The four-story, 117-room hotel — Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Las Vegas North — is scheduled to open on Oct. 30.
The $19 million project at 5575 N. Lamb Blvd. was developed by Nigro Development, with Nigro Construction handling the build. Cory Frank, vice president of business development and project management with Nigro Construction, said the hotel’s location near Nellis Air Force Base, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and numerous warehouses and distribution centers allows it to serve travelers attending work, races, or other events at those sites.
Frank also noted that when large conventions come to Las Vegas, attendees often spread out across the valley. The developers previously opened a 119-room TownePlace Suites across the intersection in 2022, adding to their portfolio of small hotels in Southern Nevada. Nigro Construction says its focus includes healthcare, industrial, and other commercial projects.
