Las Vegas will host a major new convention for three years beginning in 2031, though organizers have asked the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority not to identify the event. Chief Sales Officer Vanessa Claspill told the LVCVA board that the show is expected to generate an estimated 62,000 room nights annually.
The event will use The Venetian, Caesars Palace, Wynn Las Vegas and the yet-to-open Hard Rock as its headquarters resorts, and will also utilize Allegiant Stadium. The shows are scheduled to take place in November, positioned between the RE+ clean-energy trade show and the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Claspill also reported that the VEX Robotics World Championship will come to Las Vegas from April 23-30, generating an estimated 32,000 room nights with Caesars Palace, Resorts World Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Las Vegas and Westgate as host resorts. Additionally, Red Hat One will be held at the MGM Grand in January 2030, providing 31,000 room nights.
