With a spot in the inaugural Division I Superintendent’s Cup on the line, Centennial came through in overtime with a 27-24 victory over host Liberty on Friday night. The game was tied 21-21 at the end of regulation after a back-and-forth battle featuring multiple lead changes.

Trailing 24-21 and facing a fourth-and-goal at the 1-yard line, Bulldogs junior receiver Nehemiah Dunlap-Myvett took a handoff from senior quarterback Blake Nadler, cut to his right and crossed the goal line for the game-winning touchdown. Nadler finished 22-for-34 passing with 320 yards and a touchdown.

Liberty responded throughout the game with strong performances, including a 69-yard pass from junior quarterback Madden Delacruz to senior running back Anthony Alberro, who hurdled a defender to score. Alberro finished with 171 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries. Centennial’s defense also made key plays, including a forced turnover on downs and an 80-yard fumble return for a touchdown by senior defensive end Rahkai Jones early in the game.
