Zoox and Las Vegas Grand Prix Inc. announced Thursday a multi-year partnership that makes the company the official autonomous ride-hail partner of the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix. The partnership includes Zoox activations across Las Vegas during race week, and the company plans to offer rides to and from Grand Prix Plaza beginning in 2027 with a dedicated pickup and drop-off zone.

"Partnering with Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. brings together a shared commitment to engineering and innovation with the people and energy that make this city so special," said Carly Wyatt, vice president of experience, communications and marketing at Zoox. "Our purpose-built robotaxi was designed around the rider to make getting around more seamless, comfortable, and enjoyable. Together, we're bringing autonomous transportation to one of the world's most exciting sports and cultural moments."

Brendan Dolby, vice president of commercial at Las Vegas Grand Prix Inc., said the partnership is meant to extend beyond race week. "Formula 1 has always been a platform for innovation, and our partnership with Zoox brings that spirit to life in a new way," Dolby said. "Together, we have an opportunity to showcase the future of mobility on a global stage while building a partnership that extends well beyond race week."

Zoox's presence in Formula 1 builds on its existing relationship with the Atlassian Williams F1 Team, according to the announcement.
