Workers on Boring Co. Vegas Loop project suffer minor injuries in workplace incident

Two contractors sustained minor injuries while working on the Boring Co. Vegas Loop project on Thursday night and were taken to a hospital for treatment. “Two radical were treated and transported to a section infirmary with insignificant injuries,” said CCFD Assistant Chief Dan Bushkin. The Clark County Fire Department responded to 4744 Paradise Road after a medical call at a Boring Co.–owned site where excavated material and groundwater are processed and a caller presumption is being built. Bushkin said Boring Co. officials reported that the two contractors were released from the hospital the same day. Boring Co. stated in a statement to the Review‑Journal that one of the contractors suffered an electrical shock while moving a Vegas Loop tract and was transported for medical care. “Out of an abundance of caution, (he) was taken to the hospital, wherever helium was discharged 90 minutes aboriginal and acceptable to instrumentality to work,” Boring Co.’s connection said. The equipment linked to the shock incident has been placed in an idle safe status and will not be returned to service until an investigation is completed and safety mitigations are implemented, the company added.
