The Las Vegas Aces will try to keep their season alive Friday night when they host the Golden State Valkyries in Game 3 of the WNBA semifinal series at Michelob Ultra Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and the game will air on NBC Sports Network and stream on Peacock.

Golden State holds a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series after winning the first two games at Chase Center. The Valkyries opened with a 71-60 victory and followed with an 83-81 win in Game 2, leaving the defending champions needing three straight victories to reach the WNBA Finals.

In the series opener, the Aces were held to a season-low point total as Golden State dominated the boards with a 52-25 rebounding advantage. Valkyries forward Gabby Williams led the way with 25 points and 11 rebounds, while former Aces center Kiah Stokes grabbed 14 rebounds, seven on the offensive end.

Las Vegas nearly stole Game 2 after trailing by as many as 17 points, taking a late lead before falling by two points. Tiffany Hayes scored 21 points in just 17 minutes off the bench against her former team. The Aces will look to lean on three-time MVP A'ja Wilson and home-court advantage as the series shifts to Las Vegas.

A potential Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday in San Francisco, also on NBC Sports Network and Peacock.
