Champions League winners Paris St-Germain were unhappy with the space they were given at Red Bull Arena.

Paris St‑Germain expressed dissatisfaction with their dressing‑room arrangements ahead of the UEFA Super Cup clash against Aston Villa at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday. The Champions League holders were assigned the away dressing room at the Salzburg‑based facility, which they deemed too small compared with the space afforded to Villa. Prior to the match, PSG officials raised the issue with UEFA during a Monday meeting, stating they were not satisfied with the size of their allocated room. According to BBC Sport sources, the French club requested an area comparable to that given to the Europa League winners, noting their status as reigning Super Cup champions after defeating Tottenham on penalties the previous season. In response, UEFA provided PSG with an additional dressing room normally reserved for match officials, granting them the same dimensions as Villa’s space without relocating any officials.
