Two people were killed in a fiery single-vehicle crash on the outskirts of Las Vegas late Monday night, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at 10:06 p.m. on the southbound off-ramp from Interstate 15 to State Route 146, also known as St. Rose Parkway. A four-door sedan left the roadway and struck a concrete sign, becoming fully engulfed in flames.
Both the unidentified driver and passenger died at the scene, the NHP said in a statement.
The southbound off-ramp from I-15 to St. Rose Parkway remains closed while authorities investigate. Both eastbound and westbound ramps on State Route 146 are open, including the northbound on-ramp to I-15.
