Raiders torched by Rams for fourth straight loss after 3-0 start

The Las Vegas Raiders were dismantled by the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium, falling 35-21 for their fourth consecutive loss after opening the season 3-0. The home crowd booed the Raiders into the locker room at halftime with the team trailing 28-6.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford threw three first-half touchdown passes, two to tight end Davis Allen and one to wide receiver Puka Nacua. Running back Kyren Williams added a 17-yard scoring run and finished with 99 rushing yards as Los Angeles outgained Las Vegas 199-48 on the ground.

Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins was under constant pressure, completing 26 of 44 passes for 295 yards with two fourth-quarter touchdowns to wide receiver Tre Tucker and running back Ashton Jeanty. Jeanty led the Raiders with eight catches for 61 yards but managed just 15 yards on eight carries as Las Vegas totaled 48 rushing yards on 17 attempts.

A scoreless third quarter gave way to a late Raiders rally. Cousins connected with Tucker for a 41-yard gain and a 37-yard touchdown, then hit Jeanty for a 15-yard score after linebacker Nakobe Dean intercepted a deflected Stafford pass. The Rams answered with a 12-play, 70-yard drive capped by Blake Corum's 4-yard touchdown run with 6:34 remaining to restore a three-score lead.

The loss drops the Raiders to 3-4 on the season under first-year coach Klint Kubiak. Las Vegas has now lost to Kansas City, New England, Buffalo and Los Angeles after its winning start.
