Raiders’ Ashton Jeanty suffers apparent leg injury in training camp practice Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty left Sunday’s training‑camp practice with an apparent leg injury. The second‑year standout was helped off the field and did not put weight on his right leg. Teammates and coaches gathered, took a knee and observed a moment of silence. Jeanty had run a route into the flat, turned to field an underthrown pass from quarterback Kirk Cousins and dove to secure it near cornerback Darien Porter. The No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 draft, Jeanty is slated to play a featured role as a runner and pass‑catcher out of the backfield in first‑year head coach Klint Kubiak’s offense. As a rookie he rushed for 975 yards and five touchdowns, adding 55 receptions for 346 yards. Rookie running back Mike Washington Jr. has served as Jeanty’s backup throughout camp. This is simply a processing story. Check back for updates.
