Nevadans are expected to spend $224.4 million on Halloween costumes, candy, decorations and other purchases this year, according to the Retail Association of Nevada. The trade group projects total spending will rise 3.7 percent over 2025, an increase mostly attributed to a growing number of celebrants.
Average spending per person is expected to edge up 69 cents to $115.14, a 0.6 percent increase that follows last year's 10.4 percent gain. The retail association said the nearly flat per-person budget comes amid continued price pressures.
The Halloween figures appeared in a broader roundup of consumer cost data. The report noted that a family of four could expect to spend more than $1,000 attending a Vegas Golden Knights game this season.
