He finished with 18 points on 6‑of‑12 shooting, grabbed eight rebounds, added two steals and two blocks, and helped New Orleans edge Phoenix 81‑75. The victory lifted the Pelicans to a 2‑1 record in Summer League. The 6‑foot‑9 forward played his last two seasons at Ole Miss after a freshman year at Vanderbilt and a sophomore campaign at Belmont. **Chaz Lanier – Detroit Pistons** Lanier produced a strong effort in his second Summer League appearance, scoring 25 points on 9‑of‑17 shooting, including 7‑of‑13 from three‑point range. He also contributed three assists and three steals as Detroit topped Cleveland 103‑94, securing the franchise’s first win of the summer. The 6‑foot‑3 guard was selected 37th overall in the second round of last year’s draft out of Tennessee.
