A motorcyclist suffered critical injuries in a collision with a vehicle in west Las Vegas on Tuesday evening, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The crash occurred just after 6 p.m. at the intersection of Fort Apache Road and Reno Avenue, near Tropicana Avenue.
Police said the motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with critical injuries. Authorities did not immediately release information on the condition of the vehicle's driver or whether speed or impairment played a role in the collision.
Both northbound and southbound lanes of Fort Apache Road were closed while officers investigated the scene.
