Suspects in fatal shooting during Las Vegas robbery arrested in Minnesota

Las Vegas police say two men were taken into custody in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Oct. 27 for the killing of Reynaldo Rodis II during a robbery attempt at a business complex on East Flamingo Road. The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office arrested Antwan Terry, 36, and Anthony Terry, 38, who are being held at the Ramsey County Adult Detention Center pending extradition to Nevada.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the 3400 block of East Flamingo Road around 11:40 a.m. on Oct. 15 after reports of a shooting. They found Rodis, an employee at the shared business complex, suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid, but he died at the scene.

Investigators determined that three male suspects entered the complex and attempted to rob the business. Police say Rodis tried to intervene by lunging at one of the suspects, at which point a suspect shot him.

The Terry brothers face charges of open murder with use of a deadly weapon, four counts each of robbery with use of a deadly weapon and first-degree kidnapping with use of a deadly weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
