Olivia retained the top spot for girls’ names for the fourth consecutive year, while Muhammad led the boys’ list for the third year in a row. Amelia fell to third among girls’ names, Noah secured second place for boys, and Leo rose to third for boys. The rankings are based on birth registration data from the full previous calendar year and were published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Among the top ten girls’ names, Isla ranked fourth, followed by Florence, Freya, Poppy, Elsie, Ivy and Isabella, which appears as a newcomer. For boys, Luca placed fourth, with Arthur, Oliver, George, Oscar, Theodore and Freddie completing the leading group. Eliana, Gracie, Alba and Lilah are new entries that have entered the top 100 girls’ names for the first time. Carter, Ruben, Stanley and Vincent are the latest names to appear on the boys’ list.
