Kirk Cousins’ celebratory vibes immaculate from Raiders plane to In-N-Out

After snapping a four-game losing streak with a 38-33 victory over the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins led more than a dozen teammates — including rookie Fernando Mendoza — to an In-N-Out Burger in Las Vegas late Sunday night. Still in uniform after throwing three touchdown passes and running for another score, Cousins wore the chain's signature white paper boat hat and posed for photos. "I have an In-N-Out problem," Cousins said in September. "Coming home from a win on a Sunday night, I don't know if I can think of a better spot than that." He previously established a "Victory Monday" routine at the restaurant after a Week 2 win over the Chargers.

The celebration began earlier on the flight back from the East Coast, where Cousins revived his "Kirko Chainz" persona. Defensive linemen's Instagram accounts showed the quarterback shirtless, wearing teammates' chains, watches and glasses while dancing to music — a callback to a 2022 flight with the Minnesota Vikings. Coach Klint Kubiak said Cousins "called the shot in the locker room after the game" about looking forward to the plane ride. "I want our guys to enjoy the moment. I want our guys to enjoy winning because winning is really hard in this league," Kubiak said Monday.

Cousins' rushing touchdown sparked a viral celebration in which he mimicked the arm movements of a member of wellness coordinator Alex Guerrero's staff giving a tissue massage. The win marked the Raiders' first in a month and made Cousins, in Kubiak's view, the game's biggest winner. The coach declined to detail future running-back workload distribution after a drastic shift in carries Sunday, while noting Dylan Laube recorded the NFL's first kickoff return touchdown of the season.
