All travel lanes on Interstate 11 at Horizon Ridge Parkway are shut down in both directions Monday as law enforcement works in the area, according to authorities.
The closure affects northbound and southbound traffic, with backups and delays building on the corridor.
Officials are urging drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while the police activity continues.
Authorities have not released details on the nature of the police response or whether there are any injuries.
It is unclear when the highway will reopen.
