Police activity shuts down portion of Interstate 11 in Henderson

All travel lanes on Interstate 11 are closed in both directions at Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson as law enforcement works in the area. The shutdown affects northbound and southbound traffic, and authorities are urging drivers to avoid the corridor and seek alternate routes.

Traffic is backing up and delays are building while the closure remains in effect. Officials have not released details about the nature of the police response or whether there are any injuries.

It is unclear when the highway will reopen. This is a developing story.
