Actor and disability rights advocate RJ Mitte, best known for playing Walter White Jr. on “Breaking Bad,” died at the age of 34 in Texas, his representatives announced on Monday. “It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of beloved actor, philanthropist, and passionate disability rights advocate RJ Mitte,” his representatives said in a statement provided to Deadline. TMZ was the first outlet to report the news; the cause of death has not been disclosed. Mitte, who lived with cerebral palsy—mirroring his character’s condition—served as an ambassador for United Cerebral Palsy and Shriners Children and founded the Mitte Foundation, which provides grants and scholarships to “enrich people’s lives, as well as bringing hope to those in need,” according to the organization’s website. Beyond “Breaking Bad,” his acting credits include roles in “Switched at Birth,” “The Guardians of Justice,” and “Triumph.” Sources: FOX5 Vegas Read the full story at Las Vegas Review-Journal →
