Golden Entertainment's Aquarius Casino Resort and Edgewater Casino Resort will host the grand finale of the "Million Dollar Deal" promotion on Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Aquarius property in Laughlin, Nevada. Fourteen finalists, seven from each casino, will compete for a $1 million grand prize.
During the finale, each finalist receives 20 numbered envelopes and selects four. If the cash amounts inside total exactly $1,000, that finalist wins the grand prize. If multiple finalists hit the $1,000 total, the $1 million is split equally among them. Those who fall short receive the combined cash amount from their envelopes as a consolation prize.
The finalists advanced through seven weeks of drawings held at both properties from Sept. 26 through Nov. 7. True Rewards members earned one virtual drawing ticket for every 50 same-day base slot points earned.
Weekly Saturday drawings at each property selected eight winners to choose an envelope containing a cash prize. Each casino awarded $25,000 in cash weekly, and the guest who selected the $10,000 envelope earned a spot in the grand finale.
