The judge attached a $1 million bail to the warrant, marking the second time he has issued such an order for Oancea in this prolonged civil case where the influencer owes tens of millions to creditors. Oancea’s legal team told the court they are moving to withdraw from representing him. The latest setback adds to a growing list of troubles for Oancea, who boasts over nine million Instagram followers and was featured in the Showtime series “Action” about the sports‑gambling world. Last summer a judgment exceeding $30 million was entered against him in favor of Cabo Platinum, which alleged he sabotaged rental reservations for his Mexican properties. Since then Oancea has repeatedly ignored or evaded court directives, including a prior contempt finding that required him to surrender his assets or face incarceration.
