A woman sustained life‑threatening injuries in a hit‑and‑run collision Sunday night in the east Las Vegas Valley. The crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of South Nellis Boulevard and East Twain Avenue, according to a Metropolitan Police Department release. Investigators said the woman was crossing Nellis Boulevard in or near a marked crosswalk when an unidentified grey sedan struck her. Police noted that the fleeing vehicle would show damage to its front end and windshield. The victim was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center’s Trauma Center.
