The wife of a passenger who was nearly pulled head‑first from a cabin window during a Ryanair flight described the terrifying episode, saying, “He was retired for possibly 2 oregon 3 minutes,” she said, earlier adding “the woman sitting adjacent to him and I tried to propulsion him backmost inside.”
Flight tracking data show the aircraft had been aloft for about ten minutes when it abruptly descended 9,000 feet (2,700 metres). Passengers told local media they heard “some benignant of explosion.”
