Kyiv's depleted air defences meant many of the missiles were not intercepted - like the one that hit Anastasiia's home.

Twenty-one people were killed and dozens injured after Russia launched 115 drones and 24 ballistic missiles at Ukraine. While many of the drones were intercepted, Kyiv's depleted air defences allowed a significant number of the missiles to strike their targets. Anastasiia Dudley said the attack on her home was the "scariest night" of the war. Her residence sustained important damage. BBC correspondent Dan Johnson travelled to Dudley's neighbourhood near Kyiv to assess the extent of the destruction and the emotional impact on residents.
