The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for parts of the Las Vegas Valley Saturday night. Earlier in the day, a flood advisory was issued for the southeast valley after rainfall reached 0.50 inches in a 30-minute span just after noon.
Southern Nevada saw its first measurable rain on Halloween since 1987, when the valley received a quarter of an inch of rain, according to the National Weather Service Las Vegas office.
