Teofimo Lopez secured a three‑division championship Saturday night, outpointing Rolando Romero to claim the WBA welterweight title at T‑Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The judges scored the bout 116‑112, 115‑113 and 114‑114 in Lopez’s favor. Entering the fight as a unified lightweight titlist and the WBO junior lightweight champion, Lopez was making his debut at 147 pounds.
