Raiders owner Mark Davis said he is not upset that fans of opposing teams frequently fill Allegiant Stadium during home games, noting the franchise has not yet given local ticket holders enough reason to keep their seats. In an interview with CNBC that aired Thursday, Davis acknowledged that supporters of the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills have recently outnumbered Raiders fans in the stands.

"People think I'm upset that Raiders fans are selling tickets to visiting Chiefs fans," Davis said. "Yeah, I would prefer that they didn't, but we haven't given them anything to be proud of yet to actually not sell their tickets." He added that the team's 4-4 record through Week 9 shows improvement, but the franchise still has to earn a true home-field advantage.

Davis pointed out that Las Vegas is a destination city, so visiting fans buy tickets on the secondary market as soon as the schedule is released. He clarified that the Raiders do not profit from those resales, which command some of the highest prices in the NFL. "The Raiders aren't getting that secondary-market money," Davis said. "We are getting the first sale. The secondary-market money ... is going to season-ticket holders themselves."

The owner described the atmosphere as part of the growing pains of building a new NFL market, a process that began with community events two years before the team's 2020 arrival. Davis said his focus remains on developing the local fan base rather than pursuing international growth, especially as Las Vegas prepares to host franchises from all four major men's professional leagues by 2030.
