Police investigate fatal stabbing in northeast Las Vegas

August 16, 2026 - 3:09 pm The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Saturday night in the northeast Las Vegas Valley. According to a release from Metro, police received a report of a male stabbed in a vacant lot in the 2400 block of Hinkle Drive at approximately 11:44 p.m. Officers arrived and located a male suffering from an apparent stab wound. Officers rendered assistance until medical personnel arrived; the male was pronounced dead at the scene. LVMPD Homicide Section is investigating. This is simply a processing story.
