Golden Knights forward Braeden Bowman will not face supplemental discipline from the NHL after being ejected from Monday's game in Boston for elbowing Bruins forward Matthew Poitras. Bowman received a five-minute major and a game misconduct in the second period, the first ejection of his career.
According to the league's ruling, Bowman's elbow was tucked into his body and Poitras' head was not the main point of contact. Poitras was bleeding and had to be helped off the ice, but he returned later in the game wearing a face shield.
With Bowman available, the Knights will have a full roster for Tuesday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Vegas played the remainder of Monday's game with 11 forwards and rallied from a two-goal deficit to force overtime before falling 3-2 in a shootout.
