West Sacramento, Calif. — Randy Arozarena accounted for one of Seattle’s five home runs as the Mariners overwhelmed the Athletics 19‑1 on Saturday night, recording the franchise’s largest margin of victory ever. J.P. Crawford, Dominic Canzone and Cole Young each launched two‑run shots, while Michael Arroyo added a solo blast for his first career major‑league home run. Weston Wilson collected five hits and scored three runs. Seattle amassed 23 hits, its highest total in a game since 2004, and scored 19 runs, the most the club has posted in a single contest since 2012. Five different players recorded three or more hits, tying a club record set on Aug. 22, 2001 against Detroit. Mariners right‑hander Bryan Woo (12‑9) surrendered an unearned run over six innings, allowing three hits, two walks and striking out five. Woo now carries a 1.78 ERA in 12 career starts versus Oakland, the lowest mark by any Seattle pitcher against a single opponent in franchise history (minimum 10 starts). Athletics left‑hander Gage Jump (6‑10) gave up five runs in two innings before exiting with elbow soreness. The organization announced its intention to relocate to Las Vegas in 2028, when it will open play at a new ballpark on the Strip. Prior to the game, Oakland activated catcher Shea Langeliers from the 10‑day injured list; he went 2‑for‑with an RBI. Langeliers had been sidelined since July 28 to repair a torn left meniscus and was expected to miss the rest of the season. Looking ahead, Mariners right‑hander Bryce Miller (4‑9, 4.22 ERA) will face Athletics left‑hander Jacob Lopez (6‑4, 4.78 ERA) on Sunday.
