A Las Vegas man has been sentenced to 70 months in federal prison for three armed bank robberies carried out over a 16-day span in January 2025, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for Nevada.
Denzel Brishard Jones pleaded guilty to three counts of armed bank robbery. Court documents state he used an XBG BB gun to threaten employees and customers while demanding money during robberies from Jan. 9 to Jan. 25, 2025.
Jones fled each robbery in a vehicle driven by co-defendant Tru'Shauna, also known as "Trashauna Outlaw." Outlaw pleaded guilty to three counts of armed bank robbery and is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 10, 2026.
The case was investigated by the FBI, Henderson Police Department, and North Las Vegas Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Melinda Brewer prosecuted the case.
