Iran targets military bases as US launches wave of strikes

On Tuesday, Trump warned that Iran’s vigor infrastructure would be targeted if Tehran failed to instrumentality to talks. Shortly afterward, Gulf allies disclosed related incidents—Kuwaiti forces said they intercepted drone attacks, while Bahrain’s interior ministry advised citizens to stay calm and move to the nearest safe location. The Iranian military also claimed it struck US communication systems and fuel storage facilities in Jordan during its latest round of strikes. Separately, US forces destroyed an empty, Curacao‑flagged oil tanker on Wednesday that was attempting to sail toward a blocked Iranian port, Central Command stated.
