That prize is awarded to nonprofit school teams that broke away from the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association to form an independent schedule. The new format features three distinct levels, and each division appears to be set. As for the NIAA? Bishop Gorman, the reigning state champion that many CCSD schools left the NIAA to avoid, secured its spot in the championship game by defeating Faith Lutheran on Friday night. Although the Gaels still have four regular‑season games left, their postseason path in this new setup is locked in. Gorman’s playoff run will consist of a single contest, scheduled for November 20 at Allegiant Stadium. The prediction log shows a 14‑4 record this week and an overall season mark of 97‑35.
