‘He was one of the Eagles’: Boulder City team makes 4-year-old with Batten disease honorary player

Boulder City High School’s varsity football squad honored four‑year‑old Grayson Armstrong, who turns five in November, as an honorary Eagle during Friday’s 21‑0 victory over Eldorado. Grayson, diagnosed with Batten disease at the start of the year, received high‑fives from teammates, participated in the coin toss and was lifted from his wheelchair by players after the game while the student section sang the school fight song. According to the Cleveland Clinic,
