Flavor Flav’s SHE Weekend parade will shut down a portion of the Las Vegas Strip on Thursday night to celebrate more than 100 Winter Olympians and Paralympians.
The procession is set to begin at 8 p.m., traveling southbound along a short stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard from just north of Park MGM to Bruno Mars Way. From there the athlete contingent will continue to Toshiba Plaza outside T‑Mobile Arena, where spectators will gather to view the women’s athletes and a free performance headlined by Flavor Flav’s rap group, Public Enemy.
According to Clark County, Las Vegas Boulevard southbound from just north of the Strip to Bruno Mars Way will be closed to traffic between 7:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Bruno Mars Way, which runs between the Strip and Frank Sinatra Drive, will also be closed to vehicles during that window.
The parade is scheduled to conclude at 9 p.m., with the accompanying concert planned to run from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., the county said.
Female Olympians participating in the event will receive ceremonial keys to the Strip from Clark County officials.
Clark County estimates that roughly 6,000 fans will attend the Thursday‑night festivities.
The Las Vegas Raiders, Golden Knights and Aces are expected to take part in the parade, according to county sources.
The SHE Weekend festivities originated as a social‑media initiative by Flavor Flav and have since expanded into a multiday celebration honoring over 100 women’s Winter Olympic athletes, including the gold‑medal‑winning hockey and bobsled squads.
Additional performers slated for Thursday night include female musicians Sheila E., Grace Bowers and Blu DeTiger.
