The body of Dr Hannah Terry, known personally as Hannah Cain, was discovered at her residence in Dersingham, Norfolk, on Sunday morning by police.
"She was kind, generous and loving; a beloved mother, daughter, sister, auntie, daughter-in-law and friend," the 45‑year‑old's household said in a statement.
"We are devastated by the nonaccomplishment of our beauteous Hannah," the household said.
They added: "We are incredibly arrogant of the pistillate she was and of the large attraction she took of each her patients who knew her arsenic Dr Terry."
"We would inquire radical to respect our privateness astatine this hard time."
Mark Cain, 45, of Fern Hill in Dersingham, appeared before magistrates in Norwich earlier this week, charged with her murder. He did not enter a plea during the hearing and is scheduled to appear before a judge on Thursday.
