East Las Vegas businesses on edge after deadly shooting, 3 suspects sought

A robbery at a business in the 3400 block of East Flamingo Road turned deadly Thursday morning when three men entered the premises, leading to a confrontation in which the victim was shot and died at the scene. Police have classified the incident as a homicide and say the three suspects remain at large.

Nearby businesses, including the Psychiatric Solutions Clinic, are reacting to the violence. Office manager Roxanna Estrada said employees were unsettled by the police presence and calls from patients unable to enter, prompting them to go outside and learn of the shooting.

Estrada described the event as frightening but not surprising, noting prior incidents in the area including robberies and a killing in a parking lot within the last year or two. She said the workplace is where she spends most of her day and serves customers.

In response, Estrada said staff have changed their routines, now leaving work together due to discomfort over the suspects still being uncaught. She expressed concern the suspects could return to the area. Police have not released descriptions of the three robbers and are asking the public to contact them at 702-828-3521 or homicide@lvmpd.com with any information.
