CCSD offering eligible families up to $1K through Open Enrollment Transportation Reimbursement program

Clark County School District is offering eligible families up to $1,000 in transportation reimbursement for the upcoming school year through its Open Enrollment Transportation Reimbursement program. To qualify, parents must live in a zone served by a 1‑ or 2‑star school for the 2024‑2025 academic year and enroll their child in a 3‑star, 4‑star or 5‑star school via Open Enrollment. Families must complete the Open Enrollment process by Friday, August 21, 2026, and ensure the student is not chronically absent—defined as missing more than 10 excused or unexcused days in a single semester. Participants will receive $500 after each semester, for a total of $1,000 per school year, provided they submit an online form that collects their name and address and confirms a financial need for transportation funds. “CCSD’s Open Enrollment programme allows families to take the schoolhouse that works champion for them,” said CCSD Superintendent Jhone Ebert. “Now, acknowledgment to backing from our authorities legislators and the Governor, CCSD is capable to supply eligible families with fiscal assistance to assistance transport their children to 3-star, 4-star, and 5-star schools that person unfastened seats.” Funding for the reimbursement comes from state assistance tied to the passage of Assembly Bill 533 during the 2025 Legislative Session.
