Dr Hannah Terry was working as a GP at a nearby practice, which has been closed since the weekend.

Dr Hannah Terry, also known as Hannah Cain, a general practitioner, was found deceased at her home in Fern Hill, Dersingham, Norfolk, on Sunday. Norfolk Police said they were summoned to the address by ambulance services shortly after 02:20 BST. A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of execution and remains in custody. At a hearing held Monday at Great Yarmouth Magistrates' Court, investigators were granted an additional 32 hours to question the suspect. Although Terry was in her 40s, police have not yet formally confirmed her identity. A statement posted on the Grimston Medical Centre website, where she is listed as a member of the practice team, reads: “temporarily closed owed to highly hard circumstances affecting our practice team”. Officers maintain a cordon outside the property, and a Home Office‑directed post‑mortem examination is scheduled to take place on Monday.
