Where Las Vegas students can get free school supplies, haircuts August 4, 2026 - 12:26 pm With the new school year less than a week away for students across the Las Vegas Valley, the city of North Las Vegas is hosting a free Back-to-School Giveaway. The event will take place Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Neighborhood Recreation Center, located at 1638 N. Bruce Street. Officials said that, in addition to essential school supplies, students will receive complimentary haircuts to help them feel confident and ready for the first day of classes.
