The Las Vegas Raiders dropped their third consecutive game, losing 33-30 to the Buffalo Bills at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday. Despite the close score, the team failed to capitalize in key situations, continuing a trend of falling short when it mattered most.
The Raiders showed improvement from the previous week’s loss to New England, but were not good enough to overcome the AFC favorite Bills. Multiple fourth-and-short attempts by fullback Connor Heyward were nullified by penalties on center Tyler Linderbaum, including one during the game.
Allegiant Stadium was filled with a majority of fans wearing blue and red, as the Bills Mafia took over the venue. Buffalo Bills safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct with 19 seconds left in the first half.
While the loss was not as severe as the prior week’s defeat, the Raiders still could not secure a win, leaving them searching for answers as their struggles continue.
