The couple's children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, are enrolled to start at a school in September.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are preparing to return to the United Kingdom, the BBC understands. The move was first reported by the Daily Telegraph and the Sun. Prince Harry and Meghan plan to relocate from the United States later this year to a private, non‑royal residence outside London. Their children, Prince Archie, aged seven, and Princess Lilibet, aged five, are set to begin attending a British school in September. King Charles was informed of the decision on Sunday. There are currently no plans for either Harry or Meghan to resume their roles as working royals. The Sussexes and their children visited King Charles at Highgrove in July, although the move was not discussed during that meeting. Prince William and Princess Catherine have also been notified of the relocation. The couple’s decision to leave California follows their exit from the UK and royal duties in early 2020. Family relations had been strained since the move, but the July visit to King Charles and Queen Camilla marked a notable improvement in their relationship.
