Norrie saves match point in superb Montreal fightback

Britain’s Cameron Norrie saved a match point to overturn Alex de Minaur in a gripping comeback at the Canadian Open in Montreal. After dropping the opening set and trailing 5‑2 in the second, Norrie won the next five games to force a tie‑break, clinched it 7‑5 and then raced to a 6‑1 victory in the decider. The match lasted two hours and 52 minutes, ending with a score of 5‑7 7‑6 (7‑5) 6‑1.
