September 16, 2026 - 11:17 pm Faith Lutheran's girls volleyball team, ranked No. 2 in the Review-Journal's Southern Nevada volleyball rankings, defeated No. 6 Palo Verde in four sets, 25-23, 27-29, 25-21, 25-21, on Wednesday night at Faith Lutheran. Faith Lutheran entered the match with a 12-2 overall record and a 1-0 mark in the 5A Mountain League, while Palo Verde stood at 7-5 overall and 0-1 in league play. Both squads are set to compete in the Durango Fall Classic tournament, which begins Friday.
