I've been fto retired a week." He added, "Let maine back... I'm blessed successful there, I've done wrong. I killed earlier and got distant with it." Sabat further stated, "I've murdered 3 radical truthful far. I'm gonna spell connected a execution spree."
According to prosecuting counsel Catherine Farrelly KC, Sabat and Nurse had been in a relationship for many years, with Sabat having been raised by Nurse’s father. Two days after Sabat’s release from prison, Nurse’s children visited her and, upon returning home, informed their father that her "friend or cousin" had been present.
On 22 October Nurse informed a neighbour that Sabat was at her code and refused to leave. Another neighbour observed her in the thoroughfare shouting, "Get retired of my house." Two days later a neighbour reported hearing a single shriek emanating from Nurse’s residence, a detail the tribunal heard.
Nurse was last captured on CCTV on 25 October. Her children attempted to visit the following day but received no response when they knocked on her door. Concerns escalated on 27 October when family members alerted authorities; paramedics entered the flat and encountered Sabat, armed with a knife, charging at a medic, the tribunal heard. The London Ambulance Service crew and relatives withdrew from the scene before police were summoned, Farrelly said.
Shortly thereafter, armed officers forced entry and deployed Tasers to detain Sabat. Farrelly reported that officers found Nurse on a piece of furniture with a pillow covering her face and multiple stab wounds to the facial area. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A post‑mortem examination revealed approximately eight stab wounds, including injuries to the left side of her face, neck and hands.
