Man impaled by a hiking pole treks 10 miles down mountain

David Cifaldi was hiking Montana's Granite Peak with friends when he slipped and was impaled by his trekking pole. The pole missed all major organs. Rather than telephone for a chopper rescue, Cifaldi hiked 10 miles down the upland connected foot.
