Man dead after being hit by semitruck in North Las Vegas

Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026 | 3:12 p.m. — North Las Vegas police said officers were dispatched to East Lone Mountain Road and North Lamb Boulevard shortly before 9:30 a.m. after a semitruck struck a pedestrian. According to the incident report, the truck was turning from Lone Mountain onto Lamb when the 32‑year‑old man was crossing the street. The driver did not see the man and the impact left him dead at the scene. The driver remained at the location and was not suspected of impairment, police noted.
