The Las Vegas Raiders will try to snap a two-game losing streak when they host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium. Las Vegas is coming off its worst showing under offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, a 45-17 loss to the New England Patriots last week that was marred by penalties and defensive breakdowns.
Buffalo arrives after a 37-34 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Quarterback Josh Allen threw for 210 yards and a touchdown while adding 121 rushing yards and a score on the ground. The Bills lead the AFC East and feature an offense that previously dominated the Raiders in a 38-10 win last September, when Buffalo possessed the ball for more than 40 minutes and outgained Las Vegas 450-240.
The Raiders will be without a key piece of their defensive tackle rotation, though the team is set to get wide receiver Jalen Nailor back after he sat out the Patriots game. Defensive end Maxx Crosby, who was fined by the NFL for unnecessary roughness in the Week 5 loss to New England, is drawing significant attention from Buffalo's coaches and players ahead of the matchup.
Cornerback Taron Johnson, acquired by Las Vegas this offseason, will face his former team after helping build Buffalo into a perennial contender. Tickets for the game are in high demand as it marks the first time the two franchises have met at Allegiant Stadium with fans in attendance. Kickoff will be broadcast on KRLV-AM (920) and KOMP-FM (92.3) with Jason Horowitz and Kirk Morrison on the call.
